Energy Sector
Established a gas (propane and butane) company which grew to be the largest in the state of Baja California.

The Towers of Tijuana
The Bustamante family foundations in Tijuana to the evolution that brings I3PL forward.

Commercial real estate and industrial parks
Developed one of the first industrial parks to the east of the city that helped usher in Tijuana’s “maquiladora” or manufacturing industry.

Maquiladoras
Offshore Promotion Inc is a subsidiary of the Bustamante Group that facilitated investments in Tijuana’s Maquiladoras known today as IMMEX programs.
2018
Carga Aerea Matrix
Tijuana International Air Cargo and Logistics Park (Carga Aerea Matrix) was inaugurated. Adjacent to the Tijuana Airport, the park will facilitate the development of cross-border commerce between Mexico, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America while further elevating our region’s global competitiveness.

Founded to bring to life I3PL’s vision of a transformative Cross Border Platform, we simplify the deployment of Nearshoring Operations by harnessing five decades of expertise in the Tijuana region through Grupo Bustamante. Eddie joins the team as a distinguished professional with two decades of experience in supply chain and logistics. Having successfully scaled two startups and spent the past six years in Mexico at the forefront of Nearshoring and 321 fulfillment, Eddie brings a wealth of expertise. His vision is centered on delivering a U.S.-equivalent standard of service in Mexico, enabling companies to seamlessly adopt Nearshoring with confidence and efficiency.
Rafael Trujillo
As Managing Director of our Shelter Manufacturing Services, Rafael is instrumental in providing solutions with Sub-Assembly, Manufacturing, and Sourcing services that rapidly generate savings via virtual transfers.
Roxana Ojeda
Roxana is a highly experienced and accomplished professional with a deep understanding of Mexican and US financial compliance, encompassing service industries and Maquiladora business models, as well as navigating the complexities of SAT regulations. Her expertise is invaluable to our financial success and seamlessly integrates with our existing compliance teams.
Carlos Oviedo
Carlos, a cross-border logistics expert with over 25 years of experience, joins us from Grupo Bustamante. He will serve as our compliance specialist, managing our IMMEX program and ensuring the smooth flow of documentation. His deep understanding of cross-border logistics and IMMEX regulations will be invaluable to our operations.
